 Mr. Angadi ahs taken part in debates with topics such as Railways, Defense but he has asked specific questions/debates about Firing range which happens to be near the college his trust owns.

In the various debates Mr.Angadi has asked about the Shifting of the Bagdad Asmara Firing Range, Regarding need to transfer land belonging to Defence Department in Belgaum district, Karnataka to Belgaum district Authority to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the area, allocate funds for widening and maintenance of roads under the control of Cantonment Board in Belgaum, Abolish the system of collection of entry tax in cantonment areas of Belgaum, hand over cantonment board land for road widening work near Ashoka Circle & Request to remove the cantonment from Belgaum.

In all the above debates raised under various rules of the Loksabha, majority of the points relate to the Cantonment and Cantonment’s non cooperation with the district administration.

As per the MPLADS website our MP Suresh Angadi has recommended work of Rs.2.35 crores and still Rs.6.19 cores remain unspent from the 9 crore eligible.

Earlier one litre of petrol in Belgaum was costing Rs.73.09.

The sales tax in form of VAT is the highest in the entire country in Karnataka. The cost of Petrol in Goa after the price increase would be about Rs.61.61 per litre.

Ashiwin’s attendance was about 42% but as per the rules a student has to have a minimum of 85% attendance per semester to qulaify to apperar for the exams.

The Pro Kannada activists are believed to have made this attack as sign of protest against the Govt giving the permission to hold the Maha Melava (Convention) in Yellur village, which is being held today.

The convention is being held in Yellur to make the demand that Belgaum be made a union territory until the court decides the border dispute.

The city area is calm and there is no tension of any sorts other than a huge police presence all over the city. About 20,000 people are expected to attend the convention.

For a refrence see the electric pole behind it, so in normal terms this bamboo pole should have also been in the same line as the electric pole. (in fact the electric pole is also a hindrance which was not removed while the road was widened.)

For erecting such ads boards one needs to take permission from the Corporation and also a fee is to be paid, but placing such ad signboards which cause hindrances to movement of traffic should not be allowed.

The country, particularly south India, is facing an acute shortage of liquefied petroleum gas, something that the state-owned oil marketing companies attribute to a combination of factors, including financial constraints in the backdrop of their mounting under-recoveries.

The crisis is due to delayed supply of cylinders. There is shortage in the godowns too. Consumers are complaining that the gas is being delivered 60 days after booking.

The Marathi Mahila Manch and Marathi Yuva Manch today gave a memorandum to food and civil supplies office regarding the same and also demanded that the SMS service for booking LPG must be scrapped as not each one possesses a mobile. Also it was alleged that LPG cylinders were black marketed and sold for over Rs.1000.

Currently LPG cylinders are being delivered after a gap of 60 days.
