Karnatak Law Society’s, Institute of Management Education & Research released its 11th volume of TATVA – The Journal for Management Scholars in the hands of Dr. A B Kalkundrikar, Mentor and Professor, KLS GIT, Belagavi and Dr. H Y Kamble, Dean, Department of Commerce, and Finance Officer, RCU Belagavi on 9th March, 2015.
Dr. S G Chiniwar professor and editor of TATVA said that Tatva is now a blind peer reviewed journal and is playing a major role in building the knowledge base in management through scholarly contributions by leading management professors from different parts of the country. He also briefed about the journey of Tatva over the last 11 years.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. A B Kalkundrikar advised the faculty to continue to take up research on burning local issues like, the effectiveness of PDS, problems faced by family businesses and women entrepreneurs etc.
Dr. H Y Kamble in his address appreciated the efforts of the institute for publishing Tatva for the last 11 years without any break. He was of the opinion that the research done by the faculty should provide inputs to policy makers for a better society. Shri Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman, Governing Council of KLS’ IMER highlighted the responsibility of IMER towards its stakeholders as a leading Management institute in Belagavi. He said that it should make a difference to the society by working on local issues and advised the faculty members to take up research that will benefit all the stakeholders.
