Bhootaramanhatti mini-zoo to be developed

Speaking to press persons on Tuesday, Minister for tourism G. Janardhan Reddy said that Rs. 24-crore plan to develop the mini-zoo at Bhootaramanhatti, 20 km from Belgaum city, had been sent to the Zoo Authority of India.

Conservation work and cleaning at the historical fort would also be taken up. A sum of Rs. 4.15 crore had been sanctioned to create infrastructure at the Rajhansgadh on the outskirts of the city.

The Government had provided Rs. 2 crore each for the sound and light show at Kittur fort in Belgaum district and in Bijapur town.

  1. Its June 2013 but not even single penny is used for Bhootaramanhatti development, cheap politics and politicians will never allow Belgaum to grow…

  2. Belgaum and its people are deprived of even basic amenities, we don’t even a single good park or garden for our kids hangout, apart from movie theaters we have no other pass time venue, Ministers are promising since last 60 years, keeping a hope on their promises is foolishness
