Cities across the country have witnessed significant changes over the past 10-15 years on the back of high economic growth, infrastructure development and evolution of the services sector. Consumption of luxury services is on a rise amongst the youth of the upper class with increasing disposable incomes in Tier II and III cities in India, revealed a recent ASSOCHAM report.

With the launch of Fairfield by Marriott and the Fern in the pipeline the hospitality industry is likely to see a complete change. The local names who have been in the industry will face competition from these Star and many more upcoming budget chain of hotels.

Reliable sources in the real estate market in Belagavi have told AAB that as many as THREE new Hotels are in the pipeline namely Clarks inn, Ginger and Ibis.

Tier III holds immense potential for the branded hotels and he demand indicators in these markets are very encouraging according to reports.

With so many new Hotels lined up to be opened in the coming year, Belagavi city hospitality landscape is getting ready for a change. The local players will have to innovate to stay back in the competition.
