Pay HESCOM bill by ECS

After the introduction of Any Time Payment machines for electricity bills, HESCOM now has introduced the ECS – Electronic Clearing system mode for payment of bills.

In this case a consumer can fill the ECS form and give his/her mandate to HESCOM to automatically withdraw the monthly bill from a mentioned account.

One can also mention the maximum amount that can be withdrawn under ECS mode.

This is a very easy way of payment and normally hassle free as automatically the amount would be debited to your account on a specified date after the bill is generated.

As this is related with the bank one can stop this payment in case of problems any time by approaching the said bank.

And normally ECS facility is free and no cost is incurred for opting for ECS.

HESCOM still does not have the online bill payment facility but this is a welcome step in that direction.
