Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) on Wednesday declared a hike in milk prices across the State from Rs 3 to Rs 4 per litre. The new prices will come into effect from Thursday.
|Milk Type||Old Rate||New Rate|
|Full Cream Milk||22||26|
|Double Toned Milk||15||18|
It is said that this increase will give the farmer Rs.2.5 per litre more but all this is done keeping in mind the Gram Panchayat elections scheduled in May.
