Sindhudurg festival

A six day Sindhudurg festival began today at Kalamandir and this fest will give you a glimpse of the Sindhudurg culture, dance and tradition with ofcourse the awesome taste of Khaja, various fishes and Vada Saguti to name a few.

The fest which has become an yearly event in the calendar is organized by the Sindhudurg District Residents welfare association.

This time the number of stalls are more in number than last year and the food stalls are also greater in number.

One can taste various types of fishes, prawns, Vada Saguti, Methi vada, Kothimbir vada, solkadi and many other dishes along with normal food.

Also dont forget to visit the only stall on wooden toys from Savantawadi. The Maharashtra Tourism counter is also a great place to get information about tourism in that beautiful part of Kokan.

Timing : 6 pm onwards

Venue : Kalamandir, Tilakwadi
