KF to fly from Jan 10 from Belgaum
Good news for fliers from Belgaum is here, Kingfisher airlines has announced its new schedule today by which Belgaum will be connected to Mumbai by daily flights.

The Belgaum-Mumbai fare of Jan 11, 2011 is showing as 7500+
Where as the Mumbai-Belgaum fare is displayed as 7600+
The fares in the month of MARCH are displayed as 8100+. All fares as displayed on Cleartrip.
Makemytrip displays a fare of Rs.4020 for 11 Jan.-one way. Return is much lower of about 3800. Yatra also mentions similar fares.
Commenting on the launch of these new routes, Mr Manoj Chacko, Executive Vice President – Commercial, Kingfisher Airlines Limited said, “I’m delighted to announce the launch of the third wave of new flights in our winter schedule. Kingfisher Airlines is the first and only airline, to offer connectivity to both Jabalpur and Belgaum from Mumbai. These flights are open for sale from today.
The flights to Belgaum will commence from January 10, 2011. The new flights will offer excellent connections between important cities of India and key metropolitan cities and will further expand the reach of our strong domestic network.”
With the launch of the flights to Belgaum, guests travelling from New Delhi, Hyderabad & Chennai will get convenient connections to Belgaum via Mumbai while guests flying from Belgaum to Mumbai will get easy onward connections to New Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad. Besides this, guests travelling from Belgaum to Mumbai will now have good connectivity with the Kingfisher Airlines flight from Mumbai to Dubai while international guests coming in from London Heathrow and Bangkok will now have a good connecting option to travel onwards from Mumbai to Belgaum.
KF website states BGM-MUMBAI, BGM-DELHI, BGM-CHENNAI, HYD etc. ????? is it true?
Those are connecting flights from Mumbai.
So to travel from BGM to Chennai-
You fly from BGM to Mumbai first and then take a connecting flight from Mumbai to Chennai

Great News! May be this is in the light of UB group setting up a Distillery at Belgaum as was in news earlier.

The timing (schedule) is very bad. Can't reach Mumbai during office hours. Should have kept in the morning so that people can reach Mumbai / Belgaum during working hours.

Thats a great news! I wonder why they dont have flights to Bangalore. They had flights to both Mumbai and Bangalore last time.
