The colourful and mega event, 95th Natya Samelana, will begin with the “Natya Dindi”(Procession) at 7 AM from Margai Mandir, of Bhandur galli and will pass through, Kapileshwar road, Tahsildar Galli, Hemukalani chowk, Ramlingkhind galli, Kirloskar road, Dharmveer Sambhaji Chowk, College road, Rani Chennamma Circle, Club road and will culminate at the CpEd ground, at the BalaSaheb Thakare Natyanagari.
The Natya Dindi, will comprise of a Palanquin being borne by four bearers, “Pagadidhari palakdhar, followed by the Binicha saffron flag bearer, traditional bullock carts well decorated, the women Dhol and Zhanjpathak, Lezhim, women dressed in bright and colourful traditional costumes, carrying the Mangal Kalash, the Band Pathak, Men dressed in traditional Marathwada style, “Warkari Pathak”, which depicts the pilgrims on their way to Pandharpur singing Bhajans, Mukhya Dindi, followed by the Saffron Flag.
The sword wielding swordsmen, The Bhaldar audagiri, followed by the Celebrities, The Natya Mahotsav Flame, The Palanquin and the Purohit. Faiyazz Sheikh, president elect will ride on an open vehicle, and tableau ‘s depicting various scenes, and the idol of “Natraj”.
The three days of the 95th Akhil Bharatiya Natya Sammelan, at Belgaum, i:e, 6th , 7th and 8th of February, will be open to the General Public, with a few seats reserved for dignitaries.
