After the intervention on the MLA and MP the action to be taken on shops in the basement will be deferred sources said.
It may be recalled that Ravikumar Corporation commissioner had issued notices to 286 shops in the basement and given them 7 days time to reply as to why their shops should be sealed as they are in the basement and hence illegal.
The Basement owners association had met the MLA and MP and requested them that no such action should be initiated. This may be a political call but it seems the action to be taken has been currently deferred atleast upto the upcoming Loksabha elections.
