Advaith 2015 kicks off

The inauguration of Advaith 2015, an Inter collegiate Cultural Fest organized by the Department of Management Studies and Research (MBA), KLS, Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum was held on 15th February 2015. Mr. Premchand Lengade Managing Director, United Industries, Belgaum was the Chief Guest, Dr A. S. Deshpande, Principal, GIT was the President for the function. The function took off with an invocation song by Miss Deepali Pawar to invoke the almighty.

Dr. Praveen Kulkarni, HOD, MBA@GIT said Advaith 15 is a student oriented program for and by them”. He further said that Advaith 2015 shall be an enlightening experience to all the participants and a cradle for further development. He also threw light on the milestones that MBA@GIT has accomplished from its inception. He narrated the audience about the value adding package that, the Institute offers like certification programs, International exposure through foreign tours, lucrative placement offers, meet the executives programs and many more. GIT believes in “Quality teaching and learning method”, he further emphasized.

Mr Premchand Lengade Managing Director, United Industries, Belagavi in his inspirational speech emphasized on Career planning and preparation for the interview. He narrated many live instances to imbibe traits of decision making, smart thinking, and inspire young minds amongst the audience. He guided the students with many personal anecdotes from his successful personal and corporate journey. Mr. Lengade encouraged the gathering to acquire more knowledge by cultivating the healthy habit of reading and urged GIT to enable Industry oriented learning through interactions with Industrialists and industry visits. We Indians are culturally backed and strengthened by credible history; we have the ability to exceed in all the sectors of business like banking, Biotech, Technology and many more and also urged the students to contribute to the country. He also emphasized on women empowerment, Student folk and incoming talent through internships is the raw material for future development. His talk was very insightful and a guiding for the young audience at the gathering.

Dr. A. S. Deshpande Principal, GIT in his presidential remarks urged all the participants and students to come out of the comfort zone and explore things which are beyond one’s horizons. He insisted the students to work in teams, showcase talent and abilities on competitive and social platforms, gain leadership qualities & learn professional networking skills. Quoting the Words of Dr. Mashelkar a Padmabhushan Awardee, He appreciated the exceptional mindset of Indians and accentuated the significant contributions of Indians to the world. Cultivating the desire to win is the key for success in today’s world.
