Winter Assembly session from Tomorrow

The maiden assembly session at the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha would begin tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
Of the 16 Bills to be tabled in the House, 11 are pending bills, while two are fresh. The Karnataka Lift, Escalator and Passenger Conveyors Bill, 2012, to be introduced, will replace the earlier 1974 Lift Act.
Karnataka Land Reforms (Amendment) Bill, 2012; Karnataka State Open University (Amendment) Bill, 2012; Manipal University Bill; Arka University Bill; Karnataka Municipal Corporation (Amendment) bill; Dayanand Sagar University Bill, 2012; Vellore Technical University Bill, 2012; M S Ramaiah University Bill, 2012; Devaraj Urs University Bill, 2012; Karnataka Legislature Salaries, Pensions and Allowances (Second Amendment) Bill, 2012; Karnataka Land Reforms (Second Amendment) Bill, 2012; Karnataka Nursing and Paramedical Sciences Education (Regulation) Authority Bill, 2012
The Assembly would start at 11 am on December 5. The Assembly Secretariat has received 705 questions, of which 704 have been approved. There were 60 starred questions, 341 unstarred questions and 34 calling attention questions.

The entire menu for lunch each day mentioned below. This is for about 2000 people each day of the session at the SVS only.

Session day wise menu

5th December: Raggi Mudde, Chapati, joladda Rotti, Sprouted Salad, Tossed Salad, Badnekai Yengai, Kadai Sadzi, Thilli Saaru//Ghee, Hulli/Sambar, Capsicum Masala Kaju rice, Plain Rice,Curd, Butter Milk, huggi, Kaju Barfi, Papad, Pickle, Chutney, Ice cream, Ilaichi Banana, Shenga/Gural Chutney, Masala Pan.

6th December: Moong dal Salad, Baton Green Salad, Capsicum Kaju Masala, Kaalu Palya, Veg Biryani, Plain Rice,Curd, Butter Milk, Shenga Holige, Payasam

7th December: Poori, Chapati, joladda Rotti, Chana Chat, Salad, Veg Kurma, Aloo Gobi mutter, Gulab Jamoon, ghee Mysore pak.

10th december: Aloo Chat, Paneer Mutter, Turai Masala, Green Peas Pulao, Coconut hologi, Balushah,

11th December: Methi Malai Mutter, Bendekai fry, Tomato pulao, Khusmand halwa, Chocolate roll,

12th December: Veg Kolhapuri, Aloo Methi, Vangi Bath, Badam Halwa, Kardant

On all days the other items remain the same like rotti, Salad etc.

Each day for snacks: fried cashew nuts, wafers, Veg Sandwich, Bread toast, butter jam, Biscuits, tea/coffee.

Rs 500 a plate and what is there for 4000 strong police force gurding these bunch of elected idoits , I really felt bad to see the Police personel sitting in open area reasting for a while and eating their home made lunch boxes, do they deserve this , these politicians are asuras ( demons) of Kalyug, feasting on common man blood and flesh

      • Yes The idea is Kejriwal Aam Aadmi Party backed by IIM gratuates now , there should be transperancy in everything on public money expenditure

  2. Major and historical cities like Bidar and Gulbarga are very far from both Bangalore and Belgaum. Let’s hope that people of NE Karnataka will get rail connectivity to places like Belgaum, Hubli, Davangere, Mysore etc. Rail lines, connecting all the four corners of the state, will boost overall developement of the state. It can be noted that Gulbarga, Hubli and mangalore are amongst 5 largest cities of the state, but not having Rail connectivity between them. Somebody please raise and discuss these important issues along with the menu.
