Attestation parade of the recruits of the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental centre was held today morning at the Talekar drill square. A batch 140 recruits who successfully completed their training will be now posted in different parts of the country.
The parade was reviewed by Brig Sanjay Holey VSM, commandant MLIRC. The parade was commanded by Rect Sanjay Kadam with the Parade Adjutant Maj Aditya. Various medals were given to outstanding cadets.
A host of Army officers, JC commissioned officers, other ranks & families besides the relatives and guests of the young soldiers were present.
Congrats to MlIRC (Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Center) for bring out bright soldiers and Officers in service to the nation and motivating the youth.
In the past,Maratha Light Infantry (MLI) is well known for bravery and the popular heros include YAshwant Ghagte (Victoria Cross),Namdev Jadhav (Victoria Cross) Pandurang Salunkhe (Mahaveer Chakra)and others.
