The official Car parking managed by the city Corporation in situated at Bapat Galli Belagavi has hiked the Car parking fees from Rs.10 for 3 hours to Rs.30 for 3 hours.
Currently the same is managed by the Corporation staff as even after 3 tenders no one had bid as the base value quoted was very high.
In the last tender the prescribed fees was Rs.15 for THREE hours.
It is said that the Standing committee had raised the fees and the same has been implemented now.
30 Rs just for 3 hours, are you kidding. it is an Open space. No Roof and nothing. Even Malls in Pune charge 30 Rs for 4 hours… No facility and nothing but still 30 on what basis??
