Bharatesh Global Business School honors Belgaum women selected for Goldman Sachs Programme

Priya Khatav and Rasika Kadolkar have successfully cleared the interview round for the ‘’10,000 Women Entrepreneurs Goldman Sachs – ISB-AIMS Program’’ and have been selected for the 19 day training program at Bangalore. They are the only 2 women entrepreneurs selected from Belgaum. The 10000 women entrepreneurs is an initiative of Goldman Sachs to train women entrepreneurs in the nuances of business. The programme was launched in Belgaum with the initiative of Bharatesh Global Business School.

The two entrepreneurs were felicitated in a warm function held at the Bharatesh campus on Saturday 21st January 2012 at the hands of Dr. A. B. Kalkundrikar, Co-ordinator, Rani Channamma University, Belgaum.DSC 1358

Rasika Kadolkar, who runs Fragrance House which manufactures perfumes, shared her experience in this unique business. She said it was her passion for perfumes that propelled her into this field. Rasika today exports many of her perfumes and has also diversified into handmade designer candles.
Mrs. Priya Khatav runs Acme Computers which she started along with her husband in 1992. Starting out from a CAD training institute that trained 20000 engineers, Acme computers now offers courses in various softwares and has major companies in Belgaum as clients. Priya reminisced the initial days in business and said only hard work and relentless passion can help you gain success. They also fielded queries by the students.
Dr. R. R. Kulkarni, Director, BETGBS, Shri Vinod Doddanavar, Chairman (GC), BETGBS were present during the felicitation programme. Prof. Ajay Jamanani and Swatee Jog coordinated the event.
