All of us agree the E-tailing revolution has arrived with a bang even in tier-II cities such as Belagavi. Definitely this will have an impact on traditional brick and mortar retailing. KLS – IMER, the B-School with a mission to connect to and bring together all stakeholders in retail sector, has taken an initiative in organizing a CONCLAVE in association with TiE-Hubli, for retailers from various sectors where experts from retail sector will deliberate on emerging trends in Indian retail followed by a panel discussions and interactions. We expect to be able to aggregate and present perspectives from consumers, brick and mortar retailers, e-tailers, technologists, and others to help all participants arrive at a picture of the components of next generation ecology necessary to keep retailing thriving in tier II cities such as Belagavi.
The conclave is scheduled on Tuesday 24th February 2015, 10.00 am onwards in the Auditorium of KLS-IMER, Belagavi. The conclave consists of address by two key speakers; Address by local retailer presenting perspective of Brick and Mortar retailer in Tier-II cities such as Belagavi; one panel presenting the voice of consumers and one more panel discussion on success stories of Brick and Mortar retailers and IT service providers suggesting retailers to leverage technology and improve quality of services to consumers to be competitive in the changing environment.
