In a story published by India Today, with respect to the killing of Narendra Dabholkar, Dr Virendrasingh Tawde who has been arrested and is under interrogation has said Bullets were called chocolates and Tawde had asked one of the witnesses to procure chocolates from Belagavi.

The arrest of prime accused, Dr Virendrasingh Tawde, in the Narendra Dabholkar murder case has opened a pandora’s box.

The inclusion of the name of Belagavi is very surprising and the local police must try to ascertain more details to find out from where the bullets procured.

It may be recalled that Anti-superstition activist and Maharashtra’s most vocal rationalist Dr. Narendra Dabholkar (65) was shot dead by two youth on a motorcycle on the Omkareshwar bridge near Pune’s Shanivar Peth area while he was on a morning walk in August 2013.

  1. This might lead to some breakthrough in the M.M.Kalburgi murder case too. Hope all the culprits in all these killings are punished.
