Cable TV goes digital from today in Belgaum

The local cable operators along with the I N DIGITAL– country’s largest cable Multi System Operator (MSO) will launch its digital service from today. A whopping 220 odd channels will be up for viewing with help of set top box just like any other DTH service.

You will have to buy or rent out a Set top box and then you can choose from the various plans as per your needs. This seems to be very similar to DTH service.
