CCB dissolution quashed by HC
The Dharwad bench of the Karnataka high court today ordered that the dissolution of the Belgaum Corporation was not correct and rules were not followed in doing the same.
The Belgaum corporation was dissolved in December after notices were issued to the mayor and her deputy after they had taken part in the November 1 black day procession.
Under the muncipal act each members hearing is necessary before the dissolution and this rule was not followed and hence the court ordered that all the rules be followed by the state government.
Finally democracy and law won again. Satyamev Jayate. Kanoon sabke liye eak hotha hai it doesn’t depends or influenced by any state.
In Politically Neutral sense , we must say that Let the law of land of India prevail in the public interest.
