The residents and shop owners of Ramling Khind Galli will take out a protest march this morning starting at 11 AM and will culminate at the DC office.
MP Suresh Angadi had assured the residents that no master plan would be done without their consent but it is heard that MLA Sait said Master plan would be implemented.
The plan is to widen the current 30 feet road to 60 feet as per CDP. But the residents are opposing this and are ready for a 40 feet road along with compensation. The current plan has no scope for any sort of compensation to be paid to the shop owners or residents. This is a major cause of worry for the citizens here and most of the shops and houses are old and all would face the axe if implemented. The residents also urge they must be taken into confidence before taking any further action in this regard.
