Cold wave in North Karnataka

Sambra, Belgaum Airport recorded a minimum temperature of 8.9 degree Celsius on Saturday; which is the lowest minimum temperature recorded in the past 60 years.

The minimum temperature of 8.9 degree Celsius recorded at the Belgaum airport was a departure of 8 degree Celsius from the normal temperature recorded in the past during the same period.

The IMD has issued a warning that cold wave conditions would prevail over parts of interior Karnataka and there would be no significant change in the weather conditions for the next two days in the State.
