Dayanand S Pawar, Dy.S.P, Dandeli will be awarded with the President’s Medal for exemplary Police Service. He currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of Police Dandeli.
He had joined the Police Services as a Sub-Inspector in 1985 at Hospet and then later served at Belagavi City traffic, Nipanni and Sankeshwar. Was promoted to Circle Police Inspector in 1996 and worked at State Intelligence Karwar, Ankola, Haliyal, CRE cell Belagavi, Kittur and Tilakwadi, Belagavi. He was promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Police in the year 2012 and served at Mangalore in State Intelligence.
He was Nominated for the Chief Minister’s Award 3 times for excellent service.
