Dr M V Jali conferred with Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians FRCP (London)

Dr M V Jali was conferred with the prestigious ‘Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians FRCP (London)’ at the hands of Professor Jane Dacre, President of the Royal College of Physicians at the glittering ceremonies held on 26th July 2016 in London.

He is the only person to get this coveted recognition from Karnataka. Dr Jali pioneered the diabetes services in Karnataka star through his KLES Dr PRABHAKAR Kore Hospital & Medical Research Centre and Professor of Diabetology (Medicine) at the KLE University’s Medical College.
He heads the hospital as its Medical Director & CEO including KLE Society’s Belgaum Cancer Hospital. His study results in Genetics of Type 2 Diabetes, epidemiological studies and geriatric diabetes-care results have been published in leading medical journals.

He presented first research paper during his postgraduate studies at the 2nd World Congress Diabetes in the Young held in Ooty. He received Dr BC Roy National Award Fellowship during the 100th year Birth Celebration of Dr Roy as a special categories to medical students for the first time and he was the only student from southern states. He has contributed in the field of Genetics in type 2 diabetes, epidemiological Diabeyes research and diabetes-geriatric care. He has IMA state award, Karnataka Rajyothsava, state Red Cross, Dr RV Sathe National Award and recently Dr PS Shankar Pratistana national award for his diabetes care, research and social services rendered in India.
