Rani Channamma University website launched
After almost year of being declared as a university the city based Rani Channamma University which has 306 colleges under it. Number of students also are second to Bangalore university.

work of university is to give proper education to students and not discriminating and involving in politics…the name is belgaum only not belgavi neither belgaon….
guys government and university are playing with students life in Belgaum, because yet name is not changed, its a not a question of language but its a question of all marathi and kannada students because Belgavi is not valid and as a result all the students from this university will not get job in central government so all of us should do something, i request even to kannadigas to think about this because our students are not going to bind in karnataka, they're going to fly at international level.

This is the reason why belgaum is getting avoided for so many yrs….This clearly shows there is no unit in belgaumites…Now what difference it is msking for you…If you think it as Belgaum then think in dat way…Why you taking so much pain…Just try to concentrate on developments/innovative ideas.

By changing the spell nothing will happen, after all the city as well as university is ours forever. Please don't make this as an issue, enjoy the education facilities available with RCUB.
What is there in a name. That is what even we too are saying just let it be BELGAUM why change it to Belgavi or to Belgaon.

Good to know about the website & hope this will impart correct & useful education. To start with the correction process it should be Belgaum & not Belgavi.
