After last years horrific accident in which people lost lives during the Ganesh immersion procession, DC Jayram this time has ordered that no Ganesh idol would be more than 6 feet in height. 6 feet height if the idol and 4 feet trolly in-total the height should not exceed 10 feet. In a meeting held along with the Ganesh mandalas and idol makers this was told.
The idol makers requested that this time they be allowed to install idols of greater height as the work on the same had begun but DC was stern on his order and also denied the request of 11 feet along with trolly. 
wow…….good…..great…….instead of improving the overhead 1947 system of the electrical wires menace…the DC is moving a step backward…..the works on the idols start 3-4 months early….the decision taken is too late……
How about stop using of loud speakers from all religions on all the festivals 🙂
