The State Export Excellence Awards for the year 2014-15 were held on 23rd August 2016, at Banquet Hall, Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru and Hyloc Hydrotechnic, a Belagavi based company was awarded under the category of “Best manufacturer export Award Small/Micro Engineering sector.
Mr Dilip Chitnis, Chairman and Managing director of Hyloc Hydrotechnic Pvt Ltd. received the award.
Hyloc was established in 1974 as a partnership firm called Hydrotechnic, the company is now popularly known as hyloc. Hyloc is the oldest amongst four independently run engineering companies recognized as the Polyhydron Group.
The Polyhydron group is known for their quality products and services, fair approach to business and business ethics throughout the country and abroad. The company manufactures high quality tube couplings, adaptors, pipe flanges, diagnostic couplings and allied control valves under a brand name more than 40 years. Apart from the standard product range, hyloc supplies large number of custom designed tube couplings, adaptors and valves. Company has in-house facilities of hot and cold forging, completely automatic electro-plating plant, and well equipped hydraulic test lab. Hyloc is active member on BIS sectional committee PGD36 and also P member on ISO committee.
The Government of Karnataka has introduced conferring of the State Level Export Excellence Awards to exporters since 1992-1993. This is one of the significant steps towards recognizing the efforts and best performance of our exporters in the international trade space. On behalf of the Government of Karnataka, the Department of Industries & Commerce, has been mandated to select and confer the Awards to the exporters for their outstanding performance.
Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka presented the award in the august presence of Hon’ble Minister for Large & Medium Industries & Infrastructure Development and Hon’ble Minister for Small Scale Industries, Government of Karnataka along with a galaxy of dignitaries from the helm in Government.
