The K.L.E.Society in fulfillment of its commitment of providing health care facilities to the masses has established the KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital at Yallur Road, Belagavi South. This health care facility will serve as the teaching hospital for the USM-KLE initiative and is part of KLE’s endeavor to extend its existing health care services to the needy.

The total built up area of new hospital is 285,000 Sq. Ft. It is a five storied building G+ four. The basement is equipped with Parking, Sump well, Sewage Treatment Plant. The total bed strength is 500. The Hospital provides a 24 hr Accident & Emergency Facility in addition to facilities for consultations, surgery and treatments in Neurology, Paediatrics, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, Obst. & Gynae., ENT, Burns ICU, Psychiatry and other aspects of diagnostics and treatment.

It also has facilities like lecture theatres, teaching room, library, diagnostic block, blood bank, anaesthesia department, central pharmacy, mortuary, cold storage, delivery suits, 8 Operation theatre, 12 clinical departments, faculty block, administrative block, record room, server room, residents duty room, special ward areas, cafeteria and ambulance area. Strategically located in close proximity to neighbouring villages, the facility is an attempt to take state-of-the-art healthcare facilities quite literally to the doorsteps of citizens.

The KLE Centenary Charitable Hospital will be inaugurated at 4.00 p.m. on 6th February,2015 by Shri Sharadraoji Pawar, Hon’ble former Union Minister for Agriculture.

The KLE Krishi eVigyan Kendra at Mattikopp will formally be inaugurated on 6th February,2015 at 10.00 a.m. by Shri Sharadraoji Pawar, Hon’ble former Union Minister for Agriculture.

The KLE University has built Convention Centre of international standards at J.N.Medical College campus, Belagavi. The set up comprises 4 Air conditioned Halls of sitting capacity 1200, 600, 300 and 150 each, equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities. 

The University has spent in excess of Rs.35 crores for the said convention centre which has all the facilities required to host regional, national and international conventions.

The KLE Centenary Convention Centre will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Sharadraoji Pawar.

The establishment of “Venudhwani”, Community Radio Station at the J.N.Medical College campus at Belagavi marks the realization of a long cherished dream of KLE. The objective of this Radio station is to provide a platform for citizens of Belagavi to share their ideas, thoughts and concerns. The FM Radio Station equipped with state-of-the-art recording studio will shortly commence broadcasting from J.N.Medical College campus and reach out to listeners in a radius of 10 KMs in the vicinity.

In addition to a wide range of programmes on issues pertaining to education, health care, entrepreneurship, hygiene, civic sense etc., Venudhwani will also provide a platform for local talent to showcase skills in various forms of art and culture.

Venudwani will be inaugurated at the hands of Sri Fairoz Sait, MLA.

With a focus on holistic education and hence promotion of sports and related activities are an integral part for the learning process.

In an attempt to provide impetus to the sport ‘swimming’, the K.L.E.Society has constructed a state of the art swimming pool of Olympic standards at the J.N.Medical College campus, Belagavi.

This 50X25 mts. Swimming pool has been constructed at a cost of Rs.4 Crores. The objective is to groom and promote talent in aquatics and the related sports.

The Suvarna JNMC Swimming Pool shall be inaugurated by Satsh Jarkiholi Hon’ble Minister for Excise and Minister Incharge of Belagavi Dist. Govt of Karnataka.

The series of events and initiatives of the Centenary Celebrations will be flagged off by conducting the “Centenary Rally” at Belagavi on 5th Feb 2015. The said rally will commence simultaneously from three locations, viz., the Fort, the Daver Bunglow near St.Anthony Church and from KLE University Nehru Nagar, Belagavi. The rally segments will congregate in an assembly at the Rani Channamma Circle and proceed to K.L.E. Society’s Lingaraj College grounds, Belagavi.

A musical evening of performances by renowned signing prodigy Debanjana Karmakar has been organised at the K.L.E. University’s J.N. Medical College Campus, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi on 6th February, 2015 at 6.30 p.m.Aged 15, Debanjana hails from West Midnapur, in West Bengal and was the runner up of Indian Idol Junior 2013 hosted by Sony Entertainment Networks Sony TV.

Debanjana is a student of music since the age of 5 when she trained under Guru Jayanta Sarkar at Kolkatta. A talented and versatile signer she has participated in Zee Bangla Sare Ga Ma Pa Junior, Star Plus Chote Ustaad and other high profile music competitions.
