First engineering college to get “A+” in the Karnataka
Karnatak Law Society’s Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi, was recently conferred with Accreditation A+ Grade by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC). GIT is the first Engineering Institute in the State of Karnataka, Maharashtra and few other States to get this high grade. As per the details available very few Institutes pan India could get such A+ Grade in the first cycle.
The three Members of NAAC Peer Team headed by Dr. Adiranarayana Kalanidhi, Former Vice Chancellor of Anna University visited the Institute on 19th, 20th& 21st of September 2016. This has been based on their comprehensive assessment on the parameters such as Teaching Learning, Research, Industry-Institute Interface, Societal Concerned Activities, Alumni performance, transparency &efficiency in the Governance and overall Academic excellence as well as the quality Students and Teachers.
GIT also had the honor of being First Institute in this part of Karnataka to get the accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) recently in the year 2015.
