Mild tremors felt
At 11.01 am people of Belgaum from various parts of the city reported that they felt tremors for abut 4-5 seconds.
An earthquake measuring 4.9 on ritcher scale was measured the epicenter was near Satara in Maharashtra.
According to the Indian National Tsunami Early Warning System there was an earthquake with the epicenter being near Koyna.
Anvith a IT prtofessional said, ” I felt the tremors here in hindwadi. Workstations were rattling and the balcony railings were trembling…”
Sagar Pujari said, “I too felt while I was using my pc in my room….the water bottle beside me started started shaking….it lasted for 3 to 4 secs only”
