The monsoon was delayed and people from Belgaum and other places performed special prayers for arrival of rain. After the havan and yadnya being performed at various places for rain, Muslims in the city performed Namaz-e-Istisqa.
Large number of Muslims participated in the special prayers for rainfall – Namaz-e-Istisqa – held in Idgah Maidan in the town on Saturday.
