New moms clean water from Maternity ward of civil hospital

The Maternity ward at the BIMS civil hospital in Belagavi has horrific conditions where the new moms are forced to clear the water from the leaking roof.

It is normally expected that the new born and the mother are kept in a clean and warm environment but the lackluster approach of the hospital and administration has made the mothers to clean the water leaking from the ceiling.

The same could have been cleaned by the hospital staff but the patients there said none of the staff was interested to clear the water even after repeated requests.

Now it is heard that the ward would be shifted to a different place to avoid inconvenience.
