Three days of the winter session of the Karnataka Legislature is over at the SVS Belgaum but to the disappointment of the people of North Karnataka no major issue regarding this area was discussed on the floor. The Cauvery water dispute did get some urgent heeding after the Supreme court verdict yesterday.
It was said that having an assembly session in Belgaum would give more emphasis and discus ion on the issues faced by this region but the first three days have been utterly disappointing. Tomorrow second Saturday is a holiday and the Assembly will re convene on Monday until Thursday.
