On September 1, Kallava mother of the victim had filed a complaint at Market police station that she suspects a woman to have sold her daughter in Rajasthan.

Today the police have succeeded in rescuing the 14-year-old girl of Belgaum, from Rajasthan.

The police found that a girl was recently taken by a group, led by Radha and Kailas Jain, resident of Rajasthan, to a remote town in Rajasthan under the pretext of getting her married. At Rajasthan, Radha sold her to Mukesh Jain, a resident of that state, for Rs 2.20 lakh.

The complaint mentions that Radha of Patil Galli, took mother and daughter to Rajsthan on pretext of marrying her to a rich youth. In a lodge Radha returned with the girl and said she was getting married to Mukesh and they even threatened the mother and forced her to return to Belgaum.

The entire incident came to light when the girl succeeded in calling her step father, who was unaware of this happening. But when he asked Kallava, she spoke out the truth.

Currently the girl is taking medical aid as she has gone pale and weak.
