In the recent week there have been a series of robbery and loot from various areas of the city. On Monday about 460 grams of gold was robbed from the house of Amar Hattargi from Subhash Chandra Nagar. Also a similar incident occurred in Vadgaon yesterday.
Hattargi family was out on a holiday and even a security person was deployed for the night but this incident has probably occurred when no one was nearby the police said.
This has been the repeated case in belgaum outskirts; but for now its happening in Cities as well; police should take necessary measures by deploying police staff during night shifts. And importantly, some strict action to be taken against these thieves… robbery & riots are two major issues that are affecting livelihood of belgaumites….
