    • Are you from MES? Just because of you people Belgaum still we are lagging behind in development. Its not just question of MES or any kannada party or Govt. our demand is its all about development of Belgaum. Sorry to say this but you people are never come forward for one agenda that is development. I respect every one leaving in Belgaum whether he is from Maratha or Kannadiga it does not matter. My question is which party or politician given his priority for development of city? Forget about mantri and Govt. what MES has done since 35 years? Till now i never heard that they come forward for morcha, styagrah or strike for the purpose of city development. But one thing they never forget to pass memorandum that is Belgaum should be belongs to Maharashtra and its happening every year in corporation hall. We people still not understanding what MES people have gained by doing these nonsense things. In the name of border dispute we lost 65 years and people still fighting and discuss on useless things. if we are fighting like this, no doubt third person will take benefit out of this. Now dont try to name my belonging,as I told earlier whether I am from maratha or kannada or irrespective of any other religion it does not matter at all here. Like others I am always support for smart or dream city Belgaum.

  5. The marathi and Kannadas are brothers in Belgaum . they are not enemies of each other .This Kannada /marathi issue should be stopped . I appeal all my Marathi /kanada brothers to bury this artificial hatchet of Language and make Belgaum the most beautifull and environmentally sustainable city where all human being ,birds ,animals can live in harmony forrever .make water conservation ,park ,cycing track , joging parks . for last 9 years the advantage of this split has been taken by vested interest .hope kannada/marathi brothers will unite forever .

  7. Politicians in Belgaum are playing with the sentiments of people in the name of kannada and marathi. 60 years have passed since independence, nothing has happened on the border issue. When will people start thinking wisely? When will they have a development prospective? When will they come out of their narrow mindedness is yet to be seen. Luckily Belgaum city has been selected for Smart City project inspite of all the disputes. It’s high time people start thinking wisely and work together for the betterment of the city in which we all live in.
