Public transport services was affected in Belagavi District today in the wake of the nation-wide strike against the Road Transport and Safety Bill, 2014.
North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) had very buses on the road as most of the drivers and conductors were on strike.
Many commuters who were aware of the strike preferred to take the Rail journey even when it was lengthy. Autos and Maxi cabs are working normally with no effect of strike.
