Swimmers Club Belgaum and Aquarius Swim Club Belgaum have organised the 16th Free Coaching Camp for the Differently Abled and Underprivileged.
The coaching camp is being conducted at Rotary Corporation Sports Academy’s Swimming Pool, Basveshwar Circle, Belagavi till 28th February 2017 between 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Over 200 Children comprising of Physically Challeneged, The Blind, Mentally Challeneged, Deaf and Dumb and economically backward children have participated. The children are provided with Free Transportation, Free Swimming Kit, and Staple Diet apart from Swimming Training.
The talented participants are chosen for competitive training through the year. Out of competitive swimmers five swimmers represented India at various International Competition and have won totally 42 International Medals. Hundreds of swimmers participated at the National level competition and won more than 500 medals to name a few Mr. Raghvendra Anavekar, Mr. Rajesh Shinde, Master Moin Junnedi, Umesh Khade etc.
This coaching camp is supported by Rotary Club of Belgaum, Cbalc, LEAD and Shakti Gold.
