For the first time city of Belagavi will host the 30th Senior National Baseball Championship for Men and Women for five days from January 27 to 31. Around Four hundred players representing 24 teams will compete for the title.
The same was announced by Ashok M. Pattan, chairman of the Baseball Association of Karnataka. He said the championship is being organised under the auspices of the Amateur Baseball Federation of India.
The inauguration of the event would be held at Sardars ground on January 27 and matches will be played at district stadium, Sardar High School Ground, VTU ground in Machhe and Lingaraj College ground on College Road in the city.
