The Gold Museum Union Gymkhana team won this year Belgaum premier league Cricket tournament title beating Neena Sports in the finals which was played at the Union Gymkhana grounds.
Union Gymkhana in association with the Karnataka State Cricket Association had conducted Belgaum Premier League (BPL) cricket tournament from December 22 at Union Gymkhana ground. Two, 25 overs a side matches were played in a day and in all 35 matches played, out of which 20 were league matches, 12 league matches apart from two semi-finals and a final.
Darshan Patil of Gold Museum Union Gymkkhana team was declared the man of the series.
The second edition of the Gold Museum’s Belgaum Premier League was a wounderful cricket tournament and full of colour and fun. And lot of Belgaum budding cricketers got chance to show and exhibit their talent on a platform given. I did follow it closely and enjoyed it. It was great.
