This is directorial debut of Santosh Patil of Belgaum. This Animated film has a graceful combination of graphics and animation in its 18 chapters, 700 Sanskrit verses with Hindi translation and English subtitles. Santosh’s idea was to present the Bhagavad Gita from as many angle of vision as possible-literally, visually and musically.

Vistaas Digital Media Private Limited has produced this and music has been given by Belgaumite Sagar Patil and all songs have been sung by another Belgaumite Rohan Kamat. The entire duration of the DVD is 8 Hours and 42 mins.

Debutant director Santosh told this blog, “When I was with this concept, I was like meeting daily for music director and making some good sample but at the end I was not satisfied. A friend told me about Sagar Patil she gave me his contact details then I have contacted him for the same and what he has rendered is now infront of you, super awesome.”

  1. Congratulations..:D Good to know belgaum may soon have courses in Post production. I just hope it takes off. Many a people and institutes promise a lot of things, and announce lot more. But in the end nothing ever lasts in Belgaum. The exodus of students from Belgaum is pretty high, and institutes do find difficult to stay afloat, but if the faculty and infrastructure is standard, then I don’t think students will leave Belgaum.
My sincere wishes to this new endeavor. All the best.

PS: Congratulations Rohan. Hope to see you singing in movies soon..:D
