This young lad from Belagavi is now seeing his days of glory and fame after struggling for 9 long years. Prashant came to the limelight with his lyrics in Mary Kom and now Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani.
He is a Bachelor of commerce and did his schooling from VPM school Belagavi. He was born and brought up in this little cosy town.
He has written Lyrics for Movies like Mary Kom, Puraani Jeans, Race 2, All The Best, Aa Dekhen Zara, Striker, Daddy Cool, Mumbai Mast Kalandar, Walkaway, Soch Lo, Luv U Soniyo and few more.
Bajirao Mastani – Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions is his biggest release upto date and NONSENSE – BHUSHAN KUMAR / T-SERIES is also slated for release in 2015.
He has also done lyrics for TV commercials such as Whirlpool Ice Magic, Sandisk, HTC Touch Phones, Berger Silk, Omore Ice Cream, UP Close And Personal With Pretty and Wrote and Directed 2 Short films, namely OFF 7 – A 10 Minutes short film of a man who gets caught under Suspicion of a terror attack.

His journey began in college when he would gallantly write sententious four liners for his friends received much appreciation for his talent with the words.
He also did hotel management and but left it mid way to concentrate more on his writing. Ingole, travelled to and fro from Pune, meeting music directors, producers during the weekend in the hope of being signed as a lyricist in their film. His first break came when he was signed to write ‘half a song’ for Aa Dekhe Zara which already written but not completed.
Party on my mind for Race 2 was his first big break. It took Ingole 15 months to write the entire album of Mary Kom in which he wrote almost 60 songs from which four songs, Ziddi dil, Adhure, Saudebaazi and Teri baari hai were listed.
The Bajirao Mastani lyricist has now penned a book on his struggle to make it in the film industry named “1 Love” which will be released on Friendship day. The book is Ingole’s take on love and friendships. It talks about a lyricist who wants to make it big in Bollywood and his journey, the people he meets, his love life and the situations he faces.
