BELGAUM : The winter session of the Karnataka legislature is set to begin from November 25, and the public works department has made a plan of 64 works about 10 crores which include road repairs, Electrification, preparation of guest house for the MLAs, officers etc who will be coming here from Bangalore.

Currently the Suvarna Vidhan Soudha is being chemically cleaned and it would be ready before the session.
About 2 crores would be needed for the food of various officers, guests for the 10 day session.

The police department has demanded Rs.2.85 crores for the security of the session which will include buying of new security machinery.

A new road is also being developed as per the instructions of the police worth Rs. 60 lakhs. As it had happened during the last sessions all the hotels would be booked by the Govt. during the tenure of the session which is from November 25 to December 6.

The only hope of good news for the people of Belgaum is that a few roads in the city would be repaired.

  1. Ya, very true good news for the people of Belgaum is that a few roads in the city would be repaired.

And very soon it will be followed by bad news for the people of Belgaum, the same few roads will be as they were previous conditions.
