An emerging trend of CBSE PU Colleges in Belagavi

During last few years the city of Belagavi has witnessed increase in the number of CBSE PU colleges generally known as Senior Secondary Schools. JAIN HERITAGE SCHOOL – RC Nagar, KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO 2 at Camp and other many schools are having CBSE PU Sections.  Whether you should opt for the CBSE or State Board has always been a never-ending debate. Although there are certain advantages of CBSE over State Boards. 

EXAMINATION STRUCTURE OF NEET/JEE AND OTHER ENTRANCE EXAMS
For higher education options, there is no board that helps the student as much as CBSE. The entrance examinations for both medicine and engineering are based out of the CBSE syllabus, and the questions are derived from the topics covered in NCERT textbooks. CBSE is more student-friendly and interesting to study. Its course structure is designed to ensure that students do not face a lot of pressureto ensure overall physical and mental growth. It encourages students to pursue sports alongside studies. CBSE affiliation is only possible if schools have all sports and laboratory facilities and minimum of 1.5 acre land. If you visit any CBSE PU college either Jain Heritage or any you will find huge infrastructure and nd all facilities whereas few state PU colleges are running in a small single building even. 

CBSE FOLLOWS PRACTICAL AND CONDUCIVE EXAMINATION SYSTEM 
All the efforts are taken to ensure that the students actually learn from the entire process. They don’t need to mug up things to pass the exams. The papers are designed to check practical learning. The results are mostly favorable and very few students fail in CBSE exams.  

CBSE OPTS FLEXIBLE AND RATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM  
CBSE offers a lot of flexibility to the students to pursue their field of interest. At each stage of education, students are given a choice to study in their field of interest and there is no compulsion to pick certain subjects. 

CBSE HAS ONLY ONE LANGUAGE COMPULSION
State Board has made two languages compulsory in PU 1 and 2 where as CBSE has only one language – English. It helps students to focus more on core subjects.

HIGH VALUE OF CBSE MARKSHEETS   
CBSE Board Certificate holds more value. In few fields one will be given more importance if he/she is from CBSE. CBSE has presence in 22 countries in the world. Education System of Gulf countries like UAE, Qatar , Saudi Arab  is dominated by CBSE Schools. 

IS THE CBSE MUCH TOUGHER THAN ALL OTHER STATE BOARDS?
No, CBSE is far easy than any state board. It’s is purely based on activity based learning, more focus is given to Practical Examinations then theoretical. It offers multiple subject options for subject selection.Answering CBSE question papers increases the logical thinking in students.

The parents have to take a keen call for selecting the college and board for admission in PU 1 as it will decide the future of a child. CBSE mainly focuses on quality education and emphasise on complete development. At present JAIN HERITAGE, KVs and KLE are having CBSE PU Sections. In future there may be more to come.
