Intensifying their protest against Tamil actor Sathyaraj, who is accused of insulting Kannadigas during a protest in connection with the Cauvery issue, Kannada activists headed by Vatal Nagaraj have called for a Bengaluru Bandh on April 28 as well.
Several Kananda organisations have demanded an unconditional apology from the Tamil actor. They have said that the film will be allowed to be released in the state only after the apology.
The Kannada activists said they have no personal vendetta against the movie. They are only opposing Satyaraj, an actor in the film and demand that he tender an unconditional apology for his statements against Cauvery, Kannada, Karnataka and Kannadigas. Protest against the film’s release will continue until he apologies.
An age-old video of actor Sathyaraj fuming against pro-Kannada activists while supporting the Tamil Nadu stand on Cauvery issue resurfaced the Pro Kannada activists have threatened to stop the screening.

Sathyaraj should learn to be humble from Rajanikanth. When a personality like Rajanikanth can apologise for his mistake why can’t this man?
