Photo of author

Even when only on paper the auto fare by meters has been implemented from August 1, 2013 in reality nothing is in place. Not even a single auto is charging fares by meters.

Hear to this conversation between an Auto driver and Mr.Basavraj Javali who asks for Rs.30 from Chennamma circle to Jyoti College. Further Auto driver says Fares are not yet fixed by authorities. They (autos)had demanded minimum 25 but they have not yet told us.
This is how the citizens are being looted and the enforcement authorities just give a helpline number and keep mum instead of acting on the auto drivers.
A citizen said how is that on August 1 early morning the RTO and Police both started to check the meters and started to impose fines. That was done for one day only nothing after that Why?
Hear to this audio recorded where the Auto driver speaks.

  1. Uday why don’t you take this to the DC, RTO and the police. We will also join you and let they implement the meter rule strictly.
