Satish Tendulkar Past President BCCI and DRUCC member told this blog that he had received a letter from South Western Railways, Divisional Office making it clear that in a short notice the Belgaum Railway Station will get a new face lift with the class one amenities on station like ticketing vending machine, additional wheel chairs for handicapped person , separate inquiry section, multi parking complex,additional staircases, more security would be provided at the Belgaum station.
It may be recalled that the chamber and the DRUCC had submitted a memorandum on 10th June this year asking for the above facilities.
Hope we see those improvements soon as promised.
That’s nice to here that they have got a reply from the railways as to they have at least gone through the needs and demands of the people of belgaum. But most importantly what about the Belgaum-Dharwad straight track ?
