Belagavi-based Bharatesh Education Trust (BET) was established in 1962 (registered under Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950) and is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee this year. BET has always ensured it provides quality education to all at affordable fees.
In the Diamond Jubilee year, its impetus shall be on adapting to new age technology and allied education. With this in view, BET got 3 Atal Tinkering labs at three of its schools in Belagavi and Halaga which are benefitting thousands of students from Bharatesh and other schools.
In light of this, the Trust is organizing a Mega Event “Robo Kranti” and “75 Robots ki Salami” which will be events to enter into the “Book of Records”. These events are for students of the Belagavi District from Grade 6 to Grade 10. The event’s objective is to motivate all the 74 Atal Tinkering Labs in Belagavi District. BET is inviting all the other non-ATL schools in the vicinity also to participate in this event. The Target is to reach a maximum of 150 schools for this event so that it motivates thousands of kids to the possibilities of what Robots can do and how we can create this magic.

What is Robo Kranti
Robo Kranti is a competition for students to make Robots to help us in our daily activities. Every participating school shall have one team comprising of two members. The registration fee for each team is only Rs.300/-. Various cash prizes are being given- 1 st Prize = Rs.15,000/-, 2 nd Prize –
Rs. 10,000/-, 3 rd Prize – Rs. 5000/- .
A special prize for the highest number of teams participating from each institute – a DJI Tello Drone.
What is 75 Robots ki salami?
This event is to mark India’s 75 years of independence. 75 Robots ki Salami invites 75 schools to participate to enter into the book of records. Every school will make one line follower robot operated by 2 participating members. Guidelines along with requisite specifications of the Robots have been given along with the registration form and there is no fee for this. These robots will be marching on the track on the event day to make a record.

The entire event will be put on live streaming and HD video will be made to put up on various social media. Several high-profile guests from all over the country shall be participating in this event.
