Binder Jet 3D Printer developed by Enerzi Microwave Systems Belagavi

Innovation is the key to success and Belagavi has many such faces who have innovated time and over again and this time Belagavi based Enerzi Microwave Systems Private Limited (EMSPL) has developed a Binder Jet 3D Printer and this could bet he first one in the country.


Prakash Mugali, Founder and Managing Director of EMSPL said established in 2007, Enerzi Microwave Systems Pvt. Ltd. is the leading brand in the manufacturing of industrial Microwave Heating Systems. Enerzi is proud to be India’s pioneering innovator in the application of interdisciplinary engineering knowledge to develop a variety of Microwave Heating applications.

Going ahead with innovation it had developed ‘Enprint Alpha’, which is the first variant in a series of Binder-jet 3D Printers that the company has planned to launch subsequently. He said that the mentioned printer is with an atmosphere controlled Advanced Microwave-Assisted High-Temperature Furnace.

The newly developed printer is currently being optimized for Steel Powders and very soon it will be ready for a variety of powders including Titanium and special alloys, Ceramics, polymers, and composite powders. The system can print and sinter parts of size up to 180 x 180 x 180 mm and soon bigger size machines are in pipeline.

The product is slated to hit the market by July 2020. The company has been actively working with Universities and Research organisations in India and abroad for creating such high technology products.

The company has filed 5 Patents, 7 National Awards, MoUs with Defense and CSIR Labs, Partnerships with premier institutes and Industries within and outside India
