Black day observed

The Maharashtra Ekikaran Samithi (MES) observed Karnataka Rajyotsava Day as “Black Day”.

 A large number of Marathi-speaking people turned to take part in the “silent rally” which moved from various parts of Shahpur area and culminated at Maratha Mandir auditorium, near railway overbridge.

black-dayThe MES held a meeting and reiterated its demand for transfer of Bidar, Bhalki, Nippani, Belgaum, Karwar and adjoining areas to Maharashtra.

Mayor Kiran Saynak was not seen at the Rally.

  1. Meanwhile all this politically motivated stunt was going on, me and a bunch of kannada friends met a gang of marathi boys at Sural and shared a bottle of whiskey and sat down on the river side and discussed about unity than divide. Cheers to brotherhood 🙂
