Taking cognisance of a complaint against Abhay Patil, MLA Belgaum south, the Special Lokayukta Court has directed the Lokayukta Superintendent of Police to inquire into the matter and submit a detailed report to the court by December 28.
Sujit Mulgund an activist has filed a 19 page complaint with the Lokayukta court with the complaint alleging bribery, land grab and false declaration in affidavits filed while filing nomination papers in 2004 and 2008. The other charges include suspicious financial transactions through Parivartan Co-operative Society.
